Vosloorus SAPS conducts GBV and substance abuse awareness
The learners were encouraged to focus on their studies to better themselves for a better future.
Vosloorus SAPS Social Crime Prevention recently held a school talk at Junior Comprehensive Secondary School in Vosloorus with the assistance of NPOs, the EMPD, CPF, Youth Crime Prevention Desk and a recovered drug addict.
The school talk was based on gender-based violence and substance abuse taking place in schools.
According to SAPS deputy media liaison officer Const Nompumelelo Nhlapo, this talk was meant to engage with the learners to guide them and distribute safety tip pamphlets and flyers on drugs, alcohol abuse, school safety and various types of GBV.
The learners were encouraged to focus on their studies to better themselves for a better future.
