Primrose SAPS apprehended seven suspects for possession of drugs in Primrose on November 24.

The suspects were arrested for possession of nyaope in Marathon and Makause informal settlements in Primrose during an operation conducted by the police.

Sgt Styles Maome, Primrose SAPS communications officer, said police were conducting foot patrols in the informal settlements and doing stop-and-search operations when the arrests were made.

“Upon searching them, police found them to be in possession of drugs,” said Maome.
