Diamond Elite Camp rising female star Alexandra Okoye from Jeppe High School for Girls looks forward to competing at the Central Gauteng Athletics and Athletics Gauteng North events.

The promising star started athletics at seven years old.
In Grade Two, she also started playing netball.
“If I were to choose between netball and athletics, I wouldn’t know what to do really,” she said.
Okoye is working towards getting herself a spot on the Gauteng netball team.
In grades three, four, five and six she competed at the Gauteng Championships.
“In Grades Four and Six, at the SA Championships, I placed third and fifth respectively.
“The league is about to start for this year, so I am preparing for it,” said Okoye.
