The Germiston City Basketball Club, under the leadership of coach Seaparo Ramaube, continues to develop young talent.

Tshiamo Mogapi plays for the club, attends Ekurhuleni Primary School and appreciates the value of discipline.
“Training helps me mentally and physically. When I am on the court, I get to free my mind.”
She played for Ekurhuleni District at the OR Tambo Soncini Games in 2021 and hoped to make the Gauteng team, which will be announced in March.
“My dream is to play for the Golden Warriors in the NBA,” she said.
Ramaube said Mogapi is a calm and quiet person with a different sense of humour.
“She is shy, but when it’s game time, she brings her A-game,” he said.
