Bowen learners makes a difference

Learners spread love to those who are in need.

Learners from Bowen International School Albemarle, Germiston, visited Brightfuture Kids Day Care in Alberton to donate food and clothes to underprivileged children.

They also handed over food parcels to three unemployed elders who live in the community with their grandchildren.

“All learners received clothes and the daycare also received food,” said Tshegofatso Monegi, Bowen International School teacher.

The principal Rose Moyo commended the efforts by her learners and said that the donations were well received by the elders and children.

“The daycare is also situated at an informal settlement, so the need is always great,” said Moyo.

“The daycare relies on donations for the day to day running operations. We will again meet the needs of the children for hand-over in May,” said Monegi.
