Planned water supply interruption in Thokoza

Consumers are encouraged to store sufficient water to utilise during this time.

The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to inform customers in Thokoza of a planned water supply interruption which will take place between 08:00 and 22:00 on Wednesday, March 9.

According to the metro spokesperson, Zweli Dlamini, this is due to repairs to a leak on a 600mm blank steel water main situated at corner Yende and Nkaki streets emanating from vandalism to a valve chamber.

“One roving water tanker has been dispatched to assist customers while arrangements are underway for the connection of three emergency water points,” he said.

Consumers are encouraged to store sufficient water to utilise during this time.

The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to apologise for the inconvenience caused.
