Thokoza water repairs postponed due to weather conditions
Today's planned water supply interruption is postponed due to heavy rains.
The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to inform customers in Thokoza of the postponement of the repairs that were to be conducted today on the 600mm blank steel water main situated at corner Yende and Nkaki streets.

Metro spokesperson, Zweli Dlamini said the repairs were due to damage caused to the valve chamber through vandalism.
“Due to the rain downpour that is being experienced today, this job will now be rescheduled to a suitable time which will be communicated in due course,” he said.
Consumers are encouraged to continue to use water sparingly.
The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to apologise for the inconvenience caused.
