Residents sampled delicious meals, books and toys.

Nicola Tudor, Avril Elizabeth care manager, said there was a constant flow of people.

“The funds collected from the market indicate the market’s success. We had awesome support. The aim was to raise funds that would go towards the 158 residents of the home,” said Tudor.

“We would like to spoil them this Easter with treats, however, the majority of funds will be used for operational purposes, especially for our orphans who need winter clothing, therapies and medicine,” said Tudor.

She commended the community for showing love and support towards the home and for believing in their work and visions.
