Kliprivier SAPS attends to shooting

A case of attempted murder has been opened at Kliprivier SAPS following to a shooting incident that occurred over the long weekend.

A member of Kliprivier SAPS was on duty when he attended to a shooting in Khayelitsha informal settlement in Kliprivier on April 15.

Upon arrival, he reportedly found two males who were allegedly shot by a duo of males in the company of two females.

Sgt Tintswalo Ndhambi of Kliprivier SAPS said the victims were walking when they were attacked by the pair.

“Suspects are unknown to the victims. Kabelo Madiketso was shot in the right shoulder and Lucky Mea was hit with a firearm on the forehead. Both victims were taken to Kopanong Hospital. Suspects are also possibly linked to a murder case,” she said.
