GBV awareness campaign in Makause

Local police held GBV awareness campaign in Makause informal settlement.

Primrose SAPS and the Crime Prevention Youth Desk, under the leadership of sector manager Sgt Adam Dikhoba, recently visited Makause informal settlement to raise awareness about GBV.

Dikhoba said residents were sensitised to domestic violence and sexual harassment.

“The awareness was a door-to-door campaign and safety tips pamphlets were distributed to residents,” said Dikhoba.

“Primrose SAPS acting station commander Lt-Col Mbazima Maswanganyi commended the efforts of the team working towards keeping the community safe,” said Dikhoba.
