Liverpool defeat TP Stars

Liverpool Development Club celebrated their 5-1 win over TP Stars on April 30 in the Germiston Super League.

The Red Devils broke their seven games losing streak.

According to coach Lucky Muthelo, his players were determined to win the game and register their names on the score boards.

“We are tired of losing. At half time we were leading 3-0,” said Muthelo.

“During the second half we conceded from a penalty. We bounced back to score two more goals,” said Muthelo.

“We capitalised on the mistakes made by their goalkeeper and two center backs. As per the league log standings we remain at the bottom. If we can win all our remaining games I believe we can survive being relegated,” said Muthelo.
