Primrose Technical High School learners have been selected to participate in the district public speaking competition, which will take place on July 19.

Coach and English teacher Rufus Pillay said he is proud of the 20 learners selected by the department to participate in the competition.
“Speaking in front of an audience is not easy for most people.
“Through our workshop, the learners develop the skills to speak well and state the case,” said Pillay.

He said the public speaking workshop offers the learners the opportunity to engage in dialogues with their teachers and debate topics.
