Lamdel calls for locals to act as heroes this Mandela month

Lamdel Resident’s Association is calling on residents to be heroes this Mandela Month.

The association will host a collection drive for Epworth Children’s Village.

“In the spirit of Mandela, we call on our residents to donate to the children’s home.

“They are always in need of donations,” said chairperson Jakkie Janse van Vuuren.

Those interested in supporting the drive can donate up to R67 or donate toiletries, non-perishable goods including sugar, rice and maize meal.

Drop points include Pick n Pay Lambton and Majestic Restaurant in Lambton.
