Yet another robbery stopped by Ekurhuleni police
A security officer on patrol noticed the false delivery vehicles and called the SAPS and other units for backup.
Several suspects were arrested in Wilbart on Wednesday last week after security suspected they were in the process of robbing a business.

Spokesperson for the Bedfordview SAPS Sergeant Lillian Modiga said security providers and various SAPS units responded to the scene after information was received about a possible business robbery.
On scene, officers found three double-axle trucks outside one of the businesses.
“The trucks were in the process of being loaded after the suspects told staff they were delivering for the company,” Modiga said.
“One of the three trucks had already been loaded and loading on the second truck had started.”
She added that a security officer on patrol noticed the false delivery vehicles and called the SAPS and other units for backup.
“One of the drivers was found in possession of a firearm and ammunition. More firearms were later discovered hidden in one of the trucks,” Modiga said.

All suspects were arrested and detained at Bedfordview Police Station.
They will appear in court soon.
