Lambton angler Sylvie Richards joined the U19 Young Dames team in the National Savof Tour in October.

The tour took place at Bloemhof Dam from October 3 to 5.

The U19 Young Dames measured themselves against the best women anglers the country has to offer.

“On day one, the Young Dames team was nine points behind. On day two, they were four points behind, and finally settled the scores on day three with a lead of nine points,” said Richards.

“I am ranked ninth for the National Savof Tour 2022. I netted a total of 55 fish with a total weight of 48.4kg, cumulating 24 points as an angler,” she said.

Sylvie celebrated this history-making victory of the Young Dames at this event and prepares to take her angling to the next level.
