The public implored to collect the remains of their loved ones

The mortuary has been waiting for the family since August 15, to collect the body of the baby who died on July 27.

The Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital (TMRH) urges the public to visit or contact the hospital to arrange the removal of unclaimed bodies at the hospital mortuary.

TMRH managed to contact the five families from Kathorus including Katlehong, Vosloorus and Greenfield to arrange for the collection of the bodies of their loved ones.

The hospital is requesting the Mola family and relatives from MMC 3 Peter Mokaba, Ext 28, Vosloorus to contact the hospital authorities following the passing of a baby to Anabel Mola on July 31.

According to a report provided to Kathorus MAIL by the TMRH communication assistant director Joseph Monaheng, the mother was notified by ward 2 on August 7. She promised to avail herself, but unfortunately, the numbers on the file are no longer operating.

The Nosisa family from 253 Maphanga Section, Katlehong are requested to claim the body of Lilo Nosisa’s baby, who died on September 26.

The report states that the ward contacted the provided number on the patient’s files and the mother is notknown.
Another baby’s body that needs to be claimed is the baby of Zukelwa Ntabeni, from 1135 Verbena Crescent, Greenfield who passed away on July 27.

The family is requested to contact the hospital authorities to arrange for the removal of the body. The mortuary department has been waiting for the family since August 15. They promised to come on August 12 and are not answering their phone.

Family and relatives of August Mandlane/Mondlane (51) from 222 Gwala Street, Somalia Park, Vosloorus who died on August 17, are also requested to contact authorities.

Junior Khumalo (Cumbane) a 36-year-old male from 475 Maphanga Section, Katlehong passed away on July 12.

The family is requested to contact the hospital authorities to arrange for the removal of his body.The hospital report indicates that Ward 11 notified Constable Mahlangu and the transport was arranged to the address, only to find that the deceased is not known at the address.
