Nikhil Pillay: "Fear of living up to the expectations that we are supposed to excel. We obviously have an incredible record and I just feel pressured to live up to that. I think I will continue to do what I am currently doing and give my best."
What are your greatest concerns as a 2023 matric learner?
Eleni Baladakis: “I don’t want to be overwhelmed or to centre my whole life around my academics. At the same time, I don’t want to isolate myself from people because I am pressuring myself to achieve something. I want to have a healthy mind and be able to keep up with my academics.”
Alexandro Deftereos: “For me, it’s finding balance. I want to do well academically, but I also want to continue playing sports outside of school. It is about finding the right balance where I can keep on playing sports and reach my potential academically because I think I can do both but it’s just about finding the time and the right mindset.”
