Community urged to support May 4 blanket drive

According to Russell Jones, national president of the Soldiers for Jesus Motorcycle Club, each year they host four blanket drives to assist the needy across the country.

Immortal Guardians, in partnership with Soldiers for Jesus Motorcycle Club, invite the community to support their blanket drive.

The blanket run and mass ride will take place on May 4, starting at Immortal Guardians national clubhouse at 09:00.

According to Russell Jones, national president of Soldiers for Jesus MC, each year they host four blanket drives to assist the needy across the country.

“The beneficiaries of the drive are elderly and children’s homes in Soweto, Secunda, Cape Town, East and West Rand areas,” said Jones.

Blankets distributed during previous handovers.

“The drive started in 2013 working with the International Motorcycle Club. Our target this year is to collect 2 500 blankets,” said Jones.
