Simmer and Jack Landfill Site closes temporarily

The city will provide constant updates to the users as and when there are new developments about the site.

The Simmer and Jack landfill site has been temporarily closed until November 13.

The site users/residents are advised to use other operational CoE landfill sites, namely, Rietfontein in Springs, Platkop along N3 in Vosloorus as well as Rooikraal in Dawn Park.

Site users/residents must note that disposal of waste illegally in the vicinity of a temporarily closed site is a punishable offence and anyone caught will be prosecuted.

The city will provide constant updates to the users as and when there are new developments about the site.
