Toddlers at Dynamic Kids ECD Centre recently enjoyed a fun and meaningful World Earth Day celebration, filled with learning, laughter, and little hands making a big difference.
The young learners explored the importance of caring for the environment through simple, hands-on activities.
“From picking up litter to learning how to keep their surroundings clean, the children eagerly participated and showed their love for the earth,” said principal Karina Els.

“Through songs, stories, and play-based learning, the toddlers discovered that even the smallest actions can help protect the planet. The day not only brought joy, but also encouraged a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and an early appreciation for nature.”
“At Dynamic Kids, the focus remains on nurturing not only young minds, but also compassionate hearts and responsible future citizens,” said Els.
The school also celebrated World Book Day, held annually on April 23 to promote reading, publishing, and copyright awareness. It honours literature by marking the deaths in 1616 of Shakespeare and Cervantes, encouraging children and adults worldwide to enjoy books and foster a lasting culture of reading.
“The children at Dynamic Kids celebrated the occasion in the most delightful way. Our little ones were encouraged to explore the magical world of books through reading and storytelling, sparking their imagination and love for learning,” said Els.
“Adding to the excitement, the children came dressed as their favourite book characters, bringing stories to life right before our eyes. From princesses to superheroes and beloved storybook animals, the centre was filled with colour, creativity, and laughter,” said Els.

“Events like these play an important role in developing early literacy skills and fostering a lifelong love for reading. We believe that every story read is a step towards building confident, curious, and capable young minds.
“We are proud of our children for their enthusiasm and thank our parents for their support in making the day so special,” said Els.
