City of Ekurhuleni announced that Simmer and Jack landfill site in Germiston is temporarily closed.
The Weltevreden site in Brakpan is also closed.
“All site users are advised to use the Rooikraal landfill site near Boksburg, and Platkop which is at the corner of the N3 highway and the R550 near Heidelberg,” said City of Ekurhuleni spokeserson Zweli Dlamini.
