Annual Giving Tuesday held at Germiston Bedfordview SPCA

The Germiston Bedfordview SPCA is urging locals to embrace the annual celebration of Giving Tuesday.

While Giving Tuesday happens every Tuesday, the annual celebration of generosity will take place on November 28.

It’s a day when individuals, organisations and communities worldwide join forces to support causes that hold a special place in our hearts.

The SPCA’s Roxanne Bredenkamp said there are countless ways to get involved with the Germiston Bedfordview SPCA and make a difference.

“Whether it’s a financial contribution or simply sharing our mission with friends and family, your support matters. Every act of kindness adds up and together we can create a lasting impact in our community,” she said.

She added that the animals in the community need support.

“We care for so many animals, whether being previously owned and now unwanted, stray or neglected. Our inspectorate comes across animal cruelty in our community every day.

“Your contribution will ensure that we can continue caring and uphold animal welfare in our community,” added Bredenkamp.

The branch will be running a campaign on social media pages, encouraging support from all patrons.
