Electricity issues continue to escalate in Ekurhuleni, with residents losing appliances and food, and its making it difficult for some to make a living.

Dinwiddie, Elspark, Elsburg, and Cruywagen Park all have been suffering from power outages and surges.

Residents have been left without answers and they are exhausted from begging for service delivery.

Mpho Nkosi from Cruywagen said they have been reporting and getting reference numbers but they are still sitting without power.

“I work from home and this is frustrating because I rely on the power to work.

“But now I have to spend extra money to go where I can be able to work and that is not fair because now I have to pay more just to be able to work,” said Nkosi.
