Local school hosts pipe bands show

St Benedict’s College hosted its annual pipeband gathering on July 13.

The school held its regional finals for the highland dancers as well as the pipe band.

They had two bands enter in the novice and the juvenile category with the juvenile band winning the title of Gauteng champions.

They participated in the national championships on July 27 in Benoni.
