Learners were celebrated for their outstanding achievements in academics and sports during recent ceremonies held by local schools.

The School of Affirmations hosted a special graduation event for its Grade R learners at the Majestic Nursery, marking their readiness to advance to Grade 1.

Sunnyridge Primary School held its prize-giving ceremony on December 5 and Moodley twins, Oriella and Obadiah, were the stars of the night, collecting most of the awards.

Meanwhile, Sunnyridge Primary School honoured learners for their exceptional performance in both academics and sports during a ceremony held on December 5.

Grade Six learner Charmaine Fuyana also stole the show, collecting awards for both academics and sports. She also received the prestigious principal award.
