Life of Oliver Tambo honoured in wreath-laying ceremony

Hosted by the PPCSA Ekurhuleni branch, the event commemorated Tambo’s contributions to SA’s fight for democracy and equality.

The Progressive Pastors Council of SA (PPCSA) president, Bishop Mnikelo Mazamisa and the Palestine deputy ambassador Bassam Elhussiny participated in a wreath-laying ceremony in honour of the late ANC president Oliver Reginald Tambo and his wife, Adelaide, at Tamboville Cemetery on January 26.

Mazamisa and Elhussiny appeared solemn as they placed the flowers on Tambo’s grave before kneeling down in respect of the anti-apartheid politician.
