Joburg Marathon will cause closure of some roads

Gordon Road, the R82, the M1 South and Nelson Mandela Bridge will be fully closed off.

Johannesburg south residents should note these road closures due to the Johannesburg Marathon on March 30.
The race will begin at 05:30 and end at noon, affecting many roads and highways.

Kibler Park and neighbouring areas will be affected. Some roads will have partial closures, such as Pierpoint Drive, Battersea Drive, Swartkoppies Road, the R82, the M1 South, Saint Andrews, Victoria Street, Joubert Street, De Korte, Bertha Street, Nelson Mandela Bridge, Carr Street, Miriam Makeba Street, Sunningdale Drive, Peggy Vera Road.
