Melville Koppies hike educates young explorers while supporting conservation

The next coming session will be hosted on June 8.

A group of White Horse Cubs, accompanied by their parents and Cub masters, embarked on an educational hike at Melville Koppies.

Along the way, they made stops to share interesting facts about the area’s history, provided by their guide.

The guide shared insights about the early farmers who once inhabited the Koppies.

The Cubs participated in hands-on activities, including grinding sorghum, painting their faces with red ochre, and searching for specific plants on a treasure hunt.
