“I then decided that I will come back to the centre to donate grocery, and that’s what I’m doing with my team today,” said Dlamini.

She said they came with various types of food that will assist the centre in preparing nutritious meals for the children at the centre.

“We brought basic food to the centre, which is meat, maize meal, vegetables and more. This is our first time donating to the day-care centre, but from here on, we are going to adopt the centre and keep donating to it.

“Our primary goal is to offer help to most of the charity organisations and day care centre here in Kathorus. We are still going to donate to more charity organisations and day care centres,” Dlamini shared.

She mentioned that Bean Drivin was recently established.

“It’s an organisation that produces coffee beans, and it has offices in Boksburg.”

The principal of RE-A-Hola Day Care, Maria Rakosa, said she would like to thank the Bean Drivin team for the good gesture.

“We do have children who come from disadvantaged families and the grocery is going to help us because all the children in the centre will be get nutritious meals.

“I would like to grab this opportunity to thank Bean Drivin for the donation, because we are not being funded as a day care centre and we are struggling survive,” Rakosa expressed.

She added that this is the first time Bean Drivin is donating to their centre and they appreciate it.

“The grocery will be able to sustain us for a long time.”
