“Through this event, voices and perspectives from the youth will go far in influencing international discussions and decisions, which are key in shaping a better world.

“This is a way of empowering youth voices for global impact in socio-economic issues,” said Ngwenya.

Youth leaders from G20 countries have come together to develop policies that address current global challenges.

The summit is considered the following:
• Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability;
• Inclusive Economic Growth and Employment;
• AI, Digital Innovation, Education and the Future of Work;
• Meaningful Youth Engagement and Reforming Multilateralism; and
• Inclusive Social Development and Addressing Inequality.

The G20, or Group of Twenty, which will be held in November 2025, is an international forum that brings together heads of state and leaders of governments from 19 countries and the European Union to discuss pertinent global issues.

“The summit further serves as a platform for dialogue and cooperation on issues such as sustainable development and financial stability,” said Ngwenya.
