Primrose Primary learners honoured for leadership and road safety efforts

Learners at Primrose Primary School were recognised for their commitment to traffic management and leadership development during a fun-filled empowerment day hosted by the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) and partners.

Learners at Primrose Primary School were recently celebrated for their dedication to traffic management scholar patrols and leadership development during a special empowerment day hosted by the EMPD Social Crime Prevention Unit.

The event was held in collaboration with the SAPS, Disaster Management and Emergency Services (DEMS), and local crime prevention wardens.

The initiative aimed to equip learners with essential leadership skills, foster teamwork, strengthen peer relationships, and encourage personal growth by instilling responsibility and confidence in South Africa’s future leaders.

Pupils participated in interactive games on the school field, guided by EMPD officers and partner stakeholders.
