Rocking Future Career Expo helps Germiston learners explore career paths
"Learners are sometimes unsure about what to study or how to secure employment once they leave school. That's where we come in," said Perrenko.
The Rocking Future Career Expos concluded their Germiston schools tour with a mission to help South African school leavers choose the best career paths.
On Tuesday, they made their second stop at Vryburger High School and their third and final stop at Germiston High School.

The initiative aims to develop learners’ skills and improve their chances of finding employment in a country facing critically high youth unemployment.

Boris Perrenko, instructor, said it was his first visit to Vryburger, but he was impressed by the crowd interaction.

He added that the learners showed respect and excitement while engaging with the team.
“Learners are sometimes unsure about what to study or how to secure employment once they leave school. That’s where we come in,” said Perrenko.

“The 3RC team, together with a top selection of tertiary education institutions, helps students understand the variety of options available and identify careers that suit their personalities, skills, and ambitions.
“We also have opportunities for those looking to take a gap year. Learners also received gifts from brand partners,” said Perrenko.
