The arts festival allowed learners to showcase their talents in the arts. They performed poetry, music, dance, and showcased paintings and drawings.

Marketing admin Nomsa Radebe said the event had two objectives. One to celebrate their birthday and two to discover and nurture talent.
She said the event was a success considering that they had local branches and Zimbabwe branches under one roof.
“Learners were able to express their ethnicity, diversity, and cultural backgrounds through the arts. Everyone brought their creativity,” said Nomsa.

“Not every child is gifted academically, so events like this get to unleash their potential in other departments.

“The festival was a competition on its own and learners were awarded prizes in different categories,” she said.
“I hope in the next event we can have parents to witness their children’s talents. We’re hoping to also add new categories to the festivals,” said Nomsa.
