Public Servants Association sends message of support to matriculants
The PSA has sent a heartfelt message to all matriculants, praising their perseverance and reminding them that success takes many forms.
The Public Servants Association (PSA), representing educators in the public sector, wishes matriculants well in their exams.
As learners across the country prepare to write their final examinations, the organisation extends its heartfelt wishes of support and encouragement to the Matric Class of 2025.
This important milestone reflects years of learning, personal sacrifice, and determination, and marks the beginning of a new chapter in life.

The PSA acknowledges that the journey to this point has not been easy.
Learners in South Africa continue to face significant challenges, including under-resourced schools, overcrowded classrooms, long travel distances, financial hardship, and the pressures of navigating a society where opportunities remain unequal.
Despite these obstacles, the Class of 2025 has persevered, a powerful reflection of the resilience and strength of South Africa’s young people.
“Learners are reminded that success takes many forms. While academic achievement opens valuable doors, it is determination, perseverance, and the courage to keep moving forward that ultimately shape one’s future. Setbacks are not failures but stepping stones to new opportunities,” said PSA media officer Reuben Maleka.
“The PSA expresses sincere gratitude to all educators, school administrators, and staff who have supported these learners throughout their academic journey.
Their commitment, often in the face of adversity, has empowered learners with knowledge, skills, and the confidence to face these exams and beyond.
“The PSA also calls on parents and guardians to continue playing an active, supportive role during this critical time. Their presence, encouragement, and belief in their children’s potential is essential.
“Together, parents, educators, communities, and broader society, we can help our learners succeed academically and prepare them to make meaningful contributions to the future of our country,” said Maleka.
