As we wrapped up August as Women’s Month, we asked women what do they think is the responsibility of women of this day and age considering the women of 1976 and their struggle for women’s rights.

Roxanne Cawcutt:
“Today’s women still fight for her rights to be realised so they can get equal participation in society.”
Samukelisiwe Msomi:
“I believe today’s women have a responsibility to use their rights responsibly and help teach future generations to exercise their rights responsibly as well.”
Savannah Leeson:
“Today’s women have to create their own path and be trailblazers because there is still so much more room for firsts in different industries, like our steel manufacturing space.”
Samantha Qolintaba:
“Today’s women have the mammoth task of tapping into their reservoir of power and talent, which has not been tapped into, without fear or restrictions.”
