The Ekurhuleni Basketball Association (EBA) invites all schools to participate in the upcoming Ekurhuleni Junior Basketball tournament.
The tournament is a platform for young athletes, who will have an opportunity to be an integral part of a development programme.
The tournament will take place on October 19 for the u-14, u-16 and u-18 age groups, and on October 26 for the u-10, u-12 and u-14 age groups.
On both days, the tournament will be hosted at the Katlehong Sports Complex (Huntersfield Stadium), and will commence at 8am.
There is an affiliation fee.
“To eliminate the morning rush on the days of the event, school officials are encouraged to respond as soon as possible; this will also help with drawing up a fixture list and enable us to circulate it early,” said Selinah Monaheng, secretary general of the Ekurhuleni Basketball Association.
