Raptors continue their winning ways
Thirteen Raptors Wrestling Club wrestlers recently represented the club at the Danie Voges Challenge held in Johannesburg.
Hard work and dedication are what the wrestlers from Raptors Wrestling Club pride themselves on.
The club, based in Primrose East, has been training wrestlers for almost 60 years and recently entered 13 wrestlers into the Danie Voges Challenge held in Johannesburg.
The tournament, which was held at the Danie van Zyl Recreation Centre last Saturday, was attended by a number of top clubs.
The team once again had tremendous support from the coaches and parents and walked away with an impressive haul of medals, including six gold medals and four silver medals.
Coach Dewald de Wet could not be more proud of his team.
“It is through very hard work and dedication that these boys and girls are able to win so many titles and medals,” he said.
