Elsburg ready to tackle the new season

The Elsburg Rugby Club will host an AGM on January 31 to vote in a new committee.

The new rugby season is getting closer and the Elsburg Rugby Club has begun their preparation.

“Firstly we wish all of our players and committee members a happy New Year, and we hope that this year will be successful on and off the field,” said Jolandie Konig, on behalf of the club.

“We are kicking off the season’s preparation and invite old and new players to come join the club for an exciting year.”

Practices will be held on Tuesdays, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, and Thursdays, from 6.30pm to 8pm, at the club’s home grounds, the Elspark Sports Complex.

Mario Jordaan will once again take up the position of coach.

“In addition, the club will be hosting its AGM on January 31, with the aim of voting in a new committee,” said Konig.

The AGM will be held at the Elspark Sports Complex and will start at 6.30pm. All old players and previous committee members are invited to attend.

“We look forward to seeing old and new faces,” said Konig.
