Primrose boxer earns victory in the ring

Primrose boxing star Shervantaigh Koopman took his record to 13-0, with nine knockouts, when he beat Angolan-born Christiano Ndombassy.

He claimed victory in the main supporting bout of the Double Down@The Palace Box and Dine Tournament at Emperors Palace on November 25.

Koopman, the current SA Junior Middleweight champion, won the eight-round junior middleweight bout with a unanimous points decision with two judges scoring the fight 80-72 and the other 79-73.
