The cream of the Afrikaans recording industry will gather for the 13th annual Ghoema Afrikaans Music Awards.
The event will take place in the Big Top Arena, at Carnival City, on Sunday, April 13.
The Ghoema Awards are a prestigious celebration of the Afrikaans language and its music.
The evening combines the awards ceremony with great performances from some of South Africa’s leading entertainers.
Performing this year are Elvis Blue, Kurt Darren, Riana Nel, Joshua na die Reen, Corlea Botha, Jay, Joe Foster, Burgert Botha and many more.
The awards will focus on 25 different categories, which honour the various accomplishments over the past year.
The Ghoema Awards evening will be televised on kykNET, on Sunday, April 20, and tickets for the live event are available from Computicket.
