Top bands to share the stage
Catch the Parlotones and Locnville together on one stage.
The best of South African rock and electronic hip hop collide at Carnival City on Saturday, August 16, when multi-platinum selling rock band, The Parlotones, and multi-award winning electro duo, Locnville, come together for a rare music spectacular – Redefined.
“What a coup for Carnival City to host two of SA’s biggest bands together for a show that is sure to redefine the parameters for these exceptional artists and their massive fan bases,” said Jaco Saaiman, entertainment manager at Carnival City.
“With the best of local rock and electronic hip hop colliding on stage, this is an experience not-to-be-missed.”
The Parlotones will headline the Redefined concert, performing a rocking two-hour set.
Fans are set to get “up close and personal” with the four-member band, which has achieved multi-platinum selling status in South Africa and gained global popularity touring the world.
Multi-award winning and best-selling electronic hip hop duo, Locnville, consisting of twin brothers, Andrew and Brian Chaplin, will end the music marathon with a scintillating hour long performance
The show, a Thikho Events initiative, will feature the bands’ chart-topping hits like Push Me To The Floor (The Parlotones) and Closer (Locnville).
The show in the Big Top Arena starts at 7pm.
