Celebrating Dr Seuss Day

Let your imagination come to life and be different this Dr Seuss Day.

We truly love him
In a house.
We truly love him
With a mouse.
We truly love him
Here or there.
We truly love him
Anywhere.
We truly love the silly goose.
We truly love old Dr Seuss!

March 2 is officially Dr Seuss Day – a day to honour and embrace the magic that is Dr Seuss.
Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known to the world as Dr Seuss, was born on March 2, 1904, in Massachusetts.

A writer, poet and cartoonist, Dr Seuss wrote and illustrated 44 books for children at the time of his death on September 24, 1991.

He is known for his distinct and zany style which is evident in his works such as, The Cat In A Hat, Green Eggs and Ham and How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

March 2nd is a celebration of his life and works where people are encouraged to dress up as their favourite Dr Seuss characters or speak in rhymes, a common trait of the legendary man.
