A young model, Tshepiso Zondo (21), who entered Miss Jozi 2017 beauty pageant is looking for your support. To vote for her SMS the word MISSJOZI TSHEPISO to 33282. Voting line will close on Monday, July 31 at 11pm.

Tshepiso from Skhosana Section in Katlehong is studying towards a degree in anthropology at the University of Johannesburg and is at the second-year level.

She said the competition is at the stage whereby the community vote can decide her fate.

“To make it this far was never easy for me as I was competing with beautiful ladies from all over Gauteng. But with the grace of God I have managed to be at this level,” said a humble Tshepiso.

She said there are 150 women left and she still needs to be selected for the top 60.

“I need as many votes as I possibly can get. Please vote for me. For me to win the competition depends on your vote,” she pleaded.

Tshepiso said from the top 60, 42 will be eliminated.

“The remaining 18 will compete in the finals at Braamfontein Recreational Centre at the end of August,” Tshepiso explained.

She said the date is not confirmed yet.

“If I can win the competition, I can use the money to pay for my fees as I am owing the university a lot of money towards my studies. As for the laptop, it can help a lot in doing my assignments,” said Tshepiso.
