Amathonga Amahle need sponsors
Amathonga Amahle is a Maskandi group from the Kathorus area that is looking for sponsors.
The group of young talented musicians has recently finished recording a demo called Amathonga Amahle and they want to record a CD.
Brandy Mlilo the group leader recently told Kathorus MAIL about the challenges they are facing when it comes to finding sponsors.
“Every one is praising our music but we are struggling to get the sponsors we need. We have met different companies that took advantage of our talent. They told us they were going to pay us for performing at different events, but they did not honour the promises they made. They only used us to make themselves rich,” Mlilo said.
He said they would be happy to get an honest company that will help them take their talent to the next level.
“We would be happy if an honest company would support us by giving us a recording deal as we want to record a CD. We would like to find a company that will promote our music and do our marketing,” said Mlilo.
