Ice skating and karaoke at Fun Day
Christian Ambassadors Gospel Church (CAGC) in Vosloorus will on Saturday, November 4 hold a Family Fun Day at the church premises in Vosloorus.
The church is located in Extention Two behind Telle Mogoerane Hospital.
Zinhle Mncube, one of the event committee members, said they changed the annual event that used to be for church members only into a family fun day for all members of the community.
“This year’s event will be much more fun than in previous years. There will be more activities including a slip and slide, Leopard Crawl, Gladiator track, ice skating as well as karaoke.
“People can participate as individuals or in groups – it’s up to them,” said Mncube.
He said entry is free but to take part in the obstacle courses, there will be once off ticket fee of only R100.
“Those who are interested in skating, will receive ice skating shoes on the day,” Mncube said.
Food and refreshments will be sold on site.
“There will be food stalls and much more. To vendors who would like to have a stall on the day, they are more than welcome to contact us, but alcohol is strictly not allowed,” said Mncube.
