Learn to enhance your life at the Women360 Expo

Enjoy a not-to-be-missed weekend of top speakers and personalities, fragrances, fashion and entertainment and the Miss SA 2018 regional competition.

Women360, the highly successful expo which helps women explore new avenues to enrich and enhance their lives and which includes the hotly contested Miss South Africa 2018 regional competition, will be coming soon to Carnival City.

It will feature a diverse range of speakers and personalities from celebrity chef Siba Mtongana and current Miss South Africa Dr Adè van Heerden to social media law expert Emma Sadleir.

The event takes place at Carnival City Casino’s Sun Park from April 13 to 15 and includes the official Miss South Africa Gauteng regional competition which has attracted the most entries to date for Miss South Africa 2018.

The Women360 Expo will offer a diverse experience with everything from fashion and fragrances and health and nutrition to the latest aesthetics treatments and self-defence.

The stylish Oyster and Champagne Garden will offer fabulous food, as well as entertainment from Sketchy Bongo and DJ Zinhle.

Celebrity chef Siba Mtongana will be a guest speaker at the Women360 Expo and Miss SA 2018 regional competition at Carnival City’s Sun Park from April 13 to 15.

The Women360 Expo opens at 4pm on April 13 with a fashion show at 7.30pm where up-and-coming Gauteng designers will show off their collections as they vie for the opportunity to become part of the select group of designers who will dress Miss South Africa 2018 during her year of reign.

On the following day (April 14) doors will open at 10am for an action-packed day of activities with the stage programme commencing at noon.

The Miss South Africa Organisation has set aside various workshops and question and answer sessions, especially for those interested in entering Miss South Africa.

Focusing on health and wellness is biokineticist Letshego Zulu, who will be discussing fitness and healthy living while Dr Adè van Heerden (Miss SA 2018) speaks on mental health, depression, eating disorders and anxiety.

There’s also make-up expert Gina Myers who reveals the innermost secrets and tricks of the trade; leading social media law expert Emma Sadleir who will point out the pitfalls of being online, how to protect yourself and be digitally savvy and Mark Grobbelaar, a sixth dan karate expert and creator of the acclaimed Women INPowered (WIP), who will give a demonstration from his courses which empower women with the tools to help them deal with life-threatening situations.

The day will end with a workshop, organised by the Miss South Africa Organisation, targeting those interested in entering Miss South Africa.

Experts include renowned pageant coach and Miss South Africa creative director Werner Wessels, followed by a master class by catwalk queen Andiswa Manxiwa.

The Miss South Africa Gauteng regional competition adjudication will take place on April 15 with pageant judges Bokang Montjane (Miss South Africa 2010), Gareth Flusk (Sun International and the Miss SA Organisation) and Suzette van der Merwe (Miss South Africa 1990 and the Miss SA Organisation) and a special judge to be announced closer to the time.

Due to the overwhelming number of entries received it will start at 8am.
