Do you have the talent to be a star of Ekurhuleni?
The youth are encouraged to showcase their talents and win.
Ekurhuleni’s Got Talent is back and the residents of Ekurhuleni are asked to join in the fun.
The show had a successful run in 2017, so it was only befitting to have another one.
“The aim of having a show of such magnitude is the fact that, not only will it be entertaining, it will also help to nurture young talent, to get children off the streets in order to prevent and curb drug abuse and to put youth from Ekurhuleni on the map,” said Paul Radebe, the marketing manager for the competition.
‘’The theme, aim and concept of the show are to inspire, educate and promote local talent while helping aid the local economy.

“We want to target Kathorus and its surrounding towns so we are hoping participants will come out in numbers.’’
The show will have a panel of judges who have vast experience in the entertainment industry, including radio and television, so decisions made will be objective and fair.
The first round of auditions took place in October, and they will be ongoing until November 24 when the champion will be crowned at the Dawn Park Shopping Centre.
Participants can still register for auditions online on the Ekurhuleni’s Got Talent website at www.egt1.co.za.
Prizes include a cash prize of R10 000 for the ultimate winner and R2 500 for the runner-up.
