KelStar drops new single with thumping house music beats
KelStar is charting a new path with newly dropped single Bebe Bonnito.
Local music sensation Maresciay ‘KelStar’ Daniel has released yet another creative offering to the local entertainment industry.
Her new hit single Bebe Bonnito is a South African house mix song sung in both English and Portuguese.
“This song is a special one because it is reminiscent of a lullaby sung to the children in our family,” said KelStar.
KelStar added a fun play on words to the song and as a result, it can be sung to both a baby and a lover.
To bring this song to life, she worked with Demor Sikhosana, a well-rounded producer, who has worked with prominent artists in the South African music industry such as Bucie, Lvovo Derrango, Shana and Mafikizolo.
“Working with Demor happened organically,” said KelStar.
“He heard my sound once and he was hooked, his exact words were, ‘We’ve got magic’ and now we have a special song together.”

“That has nurtured the way I create as well.
“I am always willing to collaborate with other musicians, as long as we can agree on making impactful music that carries good energy.
“Bebe Bonnito was a special song before I recorded it and it will always have a special place in my life and in my family.”
