Kick-start 2020 with a Soul Train Picnic
Kick the new year off with a day of music.
The ever popular Soul Train Picnic is back at Carnival City to celebrate the start of 2020 with a special New Year’s Day event.
With some of the best R&B, soul, AfroPop and classic house artists in the mix, as well as entertainment for children, the first edition of Soul Train Picnic for 2020 is a celebration of hope, family, friends and fun.
The theme for the day is smart summer outfit, with a focus on denim and white as the dress code.
Bring along family and friends who enjoy good company and great music, kick off your shoes, sip on something cold and get 2020 off to a super chilled start on the Festival Lawns at Carnival City.

Some of the acts that will entertain you are Berita, Samthing Soweto Naak Musiq, Sun-el Musician, T-Bose, Sentle, Msizi Shembe, Wilson B Nkosi and Bambo Johnson.
This wildly popular event starts at 11am and finishes at 11pm.
The venue offers safe parking and cooler boxes at R150 each are permitted.
A designated braai area will be provided and meat will be sold at the venue for your convenience.
No food is allowed to be brought into the venue.
