Primary healthcare facilities remain open
CoE stated the facilities rendering Saturday extended clinic services will be closed on December 26 and January 2.
The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) released a statement to inform residents that primary healthcare facilities will remain open throughout the festive season.
CoE stated the facilities rendering Saturday extended clinic services will be closed on December 26 and January 2.
Residents were therefore advised to use the community healthcare centres and hospitals, which are operating for 24 hours a day.
Saturday extended hours, 24-hour services and hospitals:
Saturday extended hours are:
Barcelona Clinic, Brakpan Clinic, Duduza Clinic, Emaphupheni Clinic, Geluksdal Clinic and Springs Clinic.
24-Hour services are: Daveyton Main Community Day Centre, Kwa-Thema Community Health Centre, Nokuthela Ngwenya Community Health Centre, Phillip Moyo Community Health Centre.
Hospitals are: Far East Rand Hospital and Pholosong Hospital.
Saturday extended hours services:
Boksburg North Clinic, Kempton Park Civic Centre, Reiger Park Clinic and Itireleng Clinic.
24-Hour services are: Tembisa Healthcare Centrem and Esangweni Community Health Centre.
Hospital is Tembisa Hospital.
Other Saturday extended hours services are: South Dawn Park Clinic, Dresser Clinic, Dukathole Clinic, Katlehong North Clinic, Vosloorus Poly Clinic and Wannenburg Clinic.
Saturday extended hours services are: Phola Park Community Health Centre, Jabulane Dumane Community Health Centre, and Ramokonopi Community Health Centre.
Hospitals are: Bertha Gxowa Hospital, Tambo Memorial Hospital, and Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital.
